Michael Thomas

Michael has served the special needs industry for nearly 20 years, having previously served as the Chief Executive Officer for My Possibilities (MP), one of the largest educational providers for adults with disabilities in the state of Texas. He is known for innovative programs, breaking the mold, and seeking better ways to support individuals with disabilities and their families. 

In his time with MP, from 2010-2023, the organization has grown to serve over 600 adults with disabilities each week through a variety of educational, vocational, therapeutic, and wellness programs. The organization functions today with over 110 staff and an annual budget of over 10mm dollars. 

Michael successfully led a 30-million-dollar capital campaign to find and build the My Possibilities Campus for Higher Learning, located in Plano, Texas. This 20-acre campus currently has 70,000 square foot of educational space with plans for dormitories, a health & wellness facility, and a disability-centric office and retail center. 

Michael received his Bachelors in Philosophy from Southern Methodist University and received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. He lives with his wife Julie, a Licensed Massage Therapist and healer, and his twin boys Jackson & Maxwell.
