Introducing TRAP adaptive equipment for our children/adults who use wheelchairs. In conjunction with The Pearl Drum Corporation we have put together the TRAP Djembe stand that will enable access by putting the drum in a position where our students can reach them. The versatility of the adaptive stand allows students, even those who have a very limited range of motion, to be able to touch/hit the drum. As part of the TRAP curriculum we Velcro colors, letters, and numbers to the top surface of (the head) of the drum so students can participate in differentiation, laterality, crossing the mid-line, as well as mathematics exercises.
